San Sebastian seals beach volleyball four-peat

Nieza and Ma. Jeziela Viray in three sets to complete a four-peat in the NCAA Season 92 women&#x27;s beach volleyball tournament on Sunday at the Subic Bay Sands.</p><p>The San Sebastian pair overcame an opening-set loss for a 16-21, 21-15, 15-11 result over the Lady Red Spikers.</p><p>It capped another impressive championship run for Soltones and Eroa, who won all 10 of their matches in the tournament to give their school a fourth straight title, and their seventh overall women&#x27;s championship in the event.</p><p>Making the victory more special is that Eroa and Soltones were coming off a bitter loss in the indoor volleyball competition, where the Lady Stags blew a thrice-to-beat edge in the Finals to eventual champions Arellano.</p><p>&quot;Goodbye and thank you, coach, for helping us get here,&quot; said Soltones to her longtime coach, Roger Gorayeb.</p><p>It did not help San Beda&#x27;s cause that Ma. Nieza tweaked her ankle in the first set.
