Shin Dong-pa, Jaworski reunion eyed in June

If everything goes well, South Korean basketball legend Shin Dong-pa might meet fellow basketball legend Robert Jaworski in the Philippines in June.The South Korean embassy will hold a series of sports and cultural events as part of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Manila and Seoul. South Korean ambassador Han Dong-Man said they plan to make Shin a part of their events.“We are trying to talk to Shin Dong-pa. If he is okay, we will bring a Korean team to have a friendly match here. Shin scored 48 points in a 95-86 victory over a team led by Jaworski, Danny Florencio, Jimmy Mariano and Freddie Webb with Lauro Mumar as head coach.
