<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/sports/01/21/20190121_pba.jpg"/></figure></div>MANILA - NorthPort&#x27;s do-it-all forward Sean Anthony remained on an even keel while he celebrated his first ever inclusion into the PBA&#x27;s Mythical First Team last week.For the first time in his career, Anthony had been named to the First Mythical Team, joining NorthPort teammate Christian tandhardinger, Columbian Dyip rookie CJ Perez, TNT court general Jayson Castro, and San Miguel&#x27;s dominant big man June Mar Fajardo.He was also included in the All-Defensive Team.&quot;It feels pretty good,&quot; said Anthony, who consistently ranked among the top 10 in statistical points in each conference last season.&quot;It&#x27;s a great honor to be recognized for something, and it&#x27;s a great way to wrap up Year 9 (of my career),&quot; he added.&quot;It&#x27;s a great honor to be recognized by the PBA, by the media, by your fellow players. And it&#x27;s just something that came together through just work - hard work year after year,&quot; he added. &quot;I guess it took nine years to get there, but yeah, it&#x27;s all hard work.&quot;As proud as he is of his achievement, Anthony says his focus is on something that is much bigger.&quot;It&#x27;s time to start Year 10,&quot; he said, &quot;And we&#x27;re focused on the All-Filipino.&quot;<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://sports.abs-cbn.com/pba/news/2020/03/13/pba-practices-shut-2-weeks-due-covid-19-spread-67017">READ: Practices shut down for 2 weeks due to COVID-19 spread</a></li></ul>The Batang Pier had ended the 2019 PBA Governors&#x27; Cup on a strong note, as they made it all the way to the semifinals despite being the eighth seed. They shocked top-seeded NLEX in the quarters, outlasting them in a classic triple-overtime series, and won the first game of their semis series against Ginebra before eventually succumbing to injuries.Though they are still quite undermanned -- point guard Robert Bolick, for instance, is still recovering from a knee injury -- Anthony is upbeat of their chances in the Philippine Cup.&quot;We think we have a great squad and a great team,&quot; he said. &quot;So we&#x27;re looking forward to coming out again and having a great year again.&quot;Anthony will surely be one of the players that NorthPort will look to rely on in their campaign. In last season&#x27;s All-Filipino Cup, he averaged 20.7 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 3.45 assists per game in the elimination, coming just second to Fajardo in terms of statistical points.Individual awards, however, are the least of his worries at the moment.&quot;The big thing is a team win, a team championship,&quot; said Anthony. &quot;So that&#x27;s my biggest motivation.&quot;&quot;That being said as well, I gotta thank my teammates as well for last year, coaches, everything, for getting me involved and trusting me and allowing me to showcase what I can do,&quot; he added.&quot;But as I said, this year 10 would be about winning a championship with the team and NorthPort as a team.&quot;It remains to be seen, however, when NorthPort can open its campaign. They were all set to play NLEX on March 11 when the PBA opted to suspend all of its activities in light of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
