After taking a closer look at what Errol Spence Jr. can do, Filipino champion Manny Pacquiao said he is not that impressed with the reigning IBF welterweight champion.

Pacquiao, who holds the WBA “regular” welterweight title, witnessed Spence dominating Mikey Garcia en route to a unanimous decision at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas last Sunday.

He likened Spence to an old victim: Lehlo Ledwaba.

"He doesn’t really hit that hard,” said Pacquiao said in Boxing Scene.

"He is like Ledwaba,” he said referring to the African champion whom he pummeled and stopped in his United States debut back in 2001.

Pacquiao and Spence might cross paths as they are both being handled by Al Haymon of Premier Boxing Champions.

He said he will meet with Haymon for his options for a potential July date.

“I have to talk to Al Haymon first,” Pacquiao said. “I want it in July so that my work at the Senate won’t be affected."

Spence, for his part, said he is available in July.

“I can fight in July,” said Spence.
