<p>Filipino lightweight Mercito &quot;No Mercy&quot; Gesta lost to Mexican fighter Juan Antonio Rodriguez in the 9th round of their 10-round bout at The Avalon, Hollywood, California Thursday (Friday in Manila). </p><p>A report by ABS-CBN North America News Bureau said referee Zachary Young stopped the fight at 2:55 of the round after Gesta received a hammering from the hard-hitting Mexican. </p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" data-lang="en"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">Big upset here in front of a pro Filipino crowd. That&#x27;s what he did.
