Photo courtesy of PBA Media Bureau</div></figcaption></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines – Arizona Reid&#x27;s return to the San Miguel Beermen proved to be a brief one as they were eliminated by the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in Game 4 of their 2016 PBA Commissioner&#x27;s Cup semi-finals series on Sunday.Reid arrived in Manila only on Saturday, as a replacement for SMB&#x27;s original import, Tyler Wilkerson. This is more motivation for me for the third conference, to come back sharper and in better shape.&quot;Reid said he still got to his spots and got the shots that he would normally make, but simply wasn&#x27;t in peak fitness and could not lift San Miguel to victory the way he repeatedly did during their title run in the 2015 Governors Cup.&quot;I hurt them more than I helped them,&quot; he said bluntly. &quot;But I tried. That&#x27;s all I can do, and it is what it is.&quot;&quot;I&#x27;ll be ready for the third conference for sure,&quot; he vowed.Meanwhile, he drew praise from SMB head coach Leo Austria for his performance despite flying in at short notice.&quot;Let us be fair to AZ,&quot; Austria said. &quot;This is his first game, and with 25 points and 17 rebounds, I think that&#x27;s a good contribution to the team.&quot;Alex Cabagnot, who scored 18 points, lauded Reid for his &quot;valiant effort.&quot;&quot;I can&#x27;t say anything more.
