Looking to gets its bite back, University of Perpetual Help&#x27;s football program called in an Azkals legend.The Altas has named Emelio “Chieffy” Caligdong their new head coach, succeeding Aaron Carlos Nebreja, ABS-CBN Sports <a href="https://sports.abs-cbn.com/football/news/2018/05/22/ncaa-perpetual-taps-azkals-legend-caligdong-new-coach-41942">reported </a>Tuesday.With Caligdong&#x27;s arrival, Perpetual Help team owner Dr. Antonio Tamayo said he is “excited” for the football team, which won the NCAA titles in 1989 and 1996.Caligdong retired from the men&#x27;s national team in 2014.“We feel that a legend like Chieffy Caligdong could help us revive out football program and possibly win us an NCAA championship if not this year, but in the near future,” Tamayo said.For more sports coverage, visit the <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com">ABS-CBN Sports website</a>.
