PBA Media Bureau</figcaption></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines -- TNT swingman Roger Pogoy refused to be affected by the physical plays of the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters on Sunday, when they faced off in the 2019 PBA Commissioner&#x27;s Cup.The eventful contest saw the ejection of Phoenix coach Louie Alas and TNT consultant Mark Dickel in the first three minutes, along with three players: Anthony and David Semerad, and Jason Perkins. Near-scuffles continued to litter the game, all the way up to the final seven minutes when Phoenix forward Calvin Abueva was thrown out for clotheslining TNT import Terrence Jones.Pogoy, however, was unruffled. Outside of a small incident in the third quarter, when he tripped over his own feet, he was locked in all throughout the contest.&quot;Akala ko, napatid ako ni Calvin,&quot; Pogoy said. &quot;Napatid pala ako ng sarili kong paa.&quot;He finished with a career-high 31 points, having made 8 of his 15 attempts from beyond the arc. He torched the Fuel Masters for 30 points in the All-Filipino Cup last January. Both games were held at the Ynares Center in Antipolo as well.&quot;Siguro swerte ako &#x27;pag dito ang laro at Phoenix ang kalaban,&quot; said Pogoy. &quot;Last career-high ko, sila rin kalaban eh. Dito din. Siguro, grace ni God talaga.&quot;For Pogoy, the physical nature of the game was something they had already prepared for. Even Abueva&#x27;s antics was nothing new to him.&quot;Na-anticipate na namin &#x27;yun,&quot; he said. &quot;Ganoon talaga &#x27;yung laro kanina, kasi kumbaga, baka asarin nila &#x27;yung import namin. Kumbaga, na-anticipate na namin.&quot;He was glad to see that Jones kept his cool all throughout. The import finished with 40 points and 10 rebounds in another explosive performance.
