The Portland Trail Blazers are the only NBA team Damian Lillard has ever played for, and he says he's not looking to change that.

A comment last week by ESPN's Stephen A. Smith suggested Lillard would welcome a trade, but only to the Los Angeles Lakers or New York Knicks.

But on Sunday, the star point guard sounded like he was committed to Portland's future.

"I'm not unhappy," he said, per The Oregonian. "I love where I live. I love the organization. I love our coaching staff. I love where I am."

And what about the West getting even tougher with the addition of LeBron James to the Lakers, among other moves?

"It's the Western Conference. It's always going to be tough," Lillard said. "Now you've got LeBron coming over here, you've got Denver getting a little bit better, Utah getting a little bit better. And it's just going to get tougher and tougher. It is what's it's always been, but just a little tougher."

"As far as where we fit in (the playoff picture), y'all know how I bring (it)," Lillard added. "I'm going to get us in there, and that's how it's going to go."

The Blazers, who finished third in the West last season, added guards Nik Stauskas and Seth Curry in free agency, but lost power forward Ed Davis, despite Lillard lobbying to keep him.

The three-time All-Star Lillard, who turns 28 next week, averaged 26.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.6 assists last season, his sixth in the league.
