<p>A mix of returning players and new faces will carry the country&#x27;s pride in the Asian Volleyball Confederation Asian Cup in Thailand.</p><p>Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Inc. released on Friday a tentative lineup for the tournament set to run September 17 to 23 in Nakhon Ratchasima.</p><p>Top hitter Alyssa Valdez and Jia Morado of Creamline will banner the squad, which will miss the services of six core players who suited up in the Asian Games last month.</p><p>Back for another tour of duty are team captain Aby Marano, Mylene Paat, Cha Cruz-Behag, Maika Ortiz, Denden Lazaro and Mika Reyes.</p><p>Making her return to the national team are Grethcel Soltones, Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, Risa Sato and libero Mel Gohing, while debuting for the Philippines squad are Jema Galanza and setter Jasmine Nabor.</p><div><strong>For the full story, <a href="https://sports.abs-cbn.com/volleyball/news/2018/09/07/galanza-nabor-earn-national-team-spots-46628">click here</a>.</strong></div><div><strong>For more sports coverage, visit the <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com">ABS-CBN Sports website</a>.</strong></div>
