At sa mga kaibigan nating sundalo na nakikipag-bakbakan, ito &#x27;yung pinuntahan namin nung All-Star,&quot; Pingris said Sunday.The 2014 Grand Slam champion said that the book came about because he wanted to inspire kids to go after their dreams, especially since that&#x27;s basically what he did himself back when he was young.&quot;Gusto ko kasing ma-inspire din &#x27;yung mga batang gusto maglaro ng basketball,&quot; Pingris said.&quot;Parang &#x27;yung tulad ko, kasi nung bata ako di ko naman akalain na magiging basketball player ako, akala ko dati sa palengke lang ako. Nagtiyaga lang ako, hard work, tapos ito na. Gusto ko rin i-share &#x27;yun sa kanila. Gusto ko sana may mga bata na ganun din nagi-idolo samin sa PBA, sana matupad din,&quot; he added.The 34-year-old added that the project has been a long time coming and a possible sequel is already in the works.&quot;Matagal na rin eh kaso sobrang busy at saka mahirap din pala,&quot; Pingris said of the process that led to his book. &quot;Nung una pang kwento-kwento lang tapos parang bakit hindi natin gawing libro.&quot;&quot;Sana magkaroon ng part two kasi binabalak ko aa second book, wala ng shortcut &#x27;yun, &#x27;yung pagkabata ko hanggang dito na. Kung ano &#x27;yung unang trabaho ko dati dun ko sasabihin talaga.
