It represented what is almost certainly the highest scoring performance in the UAAP since 1979.Jeff Napa of National University was the last to breach the 40-point mark, firing 43 points in 2002. University of the Philippines&#x27; Paolo Mendoza, meanwhile, scored 48 points in 1999.In 1984, UE&#x27;s Allan Caidic and University of Santo Tomas&#x27; (UST) Pido Jarencio engaged in an absolute shootout during the Finals. The &quot;Triggerman&quot; scored 46 points, while the &quot;Fireman&quot; had 48 in Game 3, with UE coming out on top, 112-99, to win the Season 47 crown.One will have to go all the way back to 1979 to find the last time that a UAAP player breached the 50-point mark.
