Buong La Salle-Zobel community, sumusuporta sa programa,&quot; said coach Tina Salak, a two-time UAAP women&#x27;s volleyball champion as an ace Far Eastern University setter in the mid-90s.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://sports.abs-cbn.com/uaap/news/2018/12/09/dls-z-brings-girls-volleyball-title-back-alabang-50872">READ: DLS-Z brings girls volleyball title back to Alabang</a></li></ul>The Junior Lady Spikers raced to an 8-0 lead in the fifth frame, before the Bullpups came to as close as three points, 9-6, and again at 10-7.But National U&#x27;s errors, along with clutch hits from Alleiah Malaluan, allowed the Junior Lady Spikers to seize the victory.The Finals setback ended NU&#x27;s four-year dominance of the UAAP girls&#x27; volleyball division.Angel Canino led La Salle-Zobel with 21 points, including two blocks, while Malaluan chipped in 15 hits, including four service aces, and 15 receptions.Graduating Junior Lady Spikers skipper Justine Jazareno, who was named Finals MVP, had nine points and 12 digs.In her final high school game, Faith Nisperos had 21 points, including two blocks, while Jimy Jean Jamili chipped in 16 hits, 13 digs and eight receptions for the Bullpups.Canino also received the season MVP award to go with her Best 1st Outside Spiker plum in a short ceremony.Canino&#x27;s teammate Malaluan was the Best 2nd Outside Spiker and Best Server winner.Other awardees were Adamson&#x27;s May Ann Nique (Best 1st Middle Blocker) and Ayesha Juegos (Best Opposite Spiker), FEU-Diliman&#x27;s Alexis Miner (Best 2nd Middle Blocker), NU&#x27;s Camille Lamina (Best Setter) and University of Santo Tomas&#x27; Det Pepito (Best Libero).Earlier, Jomar Ocampo had four blocks for a 16-point outing as NU moved on the cusp of reclaiming the boys&#x27; throne with a 25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 25-13 romp of Far Eastern University-Diliman.The Bullpups go for the crown in Game 2 on Wednesday at the San Juan arena.NU displayed balanced attack courtesy of Diogenes Poquita&#x27;s 34 excellent sets, as Michael John Fortuna, Mac Bandola and Lorence Cruz each scored 11 points.Jose Magdalino Javelona paced the Baby Tamaraws with 17 hits, 21 receptions and eight digs while Ranz Cajolo chipped in 11 points.<div>For more sports coverage, visit the <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com">ABS-CBN Sports website</a>.</div>
