This time, though, it&#x27;s for the Meralco Bolts in their PBA Philippine Cup game against Phoenix. But Grey, who failed to help Saint Benilde reach the Final Four, again found himself on the losing side at the Arena as the Fuel Masters downed the Bolts, 94-90.The rookie played the best game of his career, scoring 24 points on 7-of-12 shooting to go along with four rebounds and two assists. He gave Meralco its last lead of the game, 90-88, with 1:36 to go by knocking down a triple, only to see Cyrus Baguio drain his own three-pointer on the other end to snatch the advantage.<ul class="op-related-articles" title="Read">	<li>READ: <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com/basketball/news/2016/12/21/phoenix-outguns-meralco-wild-last-minute-shootout-19539">Phoenix outguns Meralco in wild last-minute shootout</a></li></ul>Grey also wound up sending Matthew Wright to the line with 27 seconds to go, where the Phoenix rookie made two clutch free throws. On the other end, Grey misfired on a three-pointer that essentially wrapped up the game for the Fuel Masters.&quot;Sayang, libre ako eh,&quot; Grey said of his missed triple. &quot;OK lang, kasi maganda naman ang laro ko, pero siguro kailangan pa namin ng team chemistry para manalo kami.&quot;(Too bad because I was open. It&#x27;s OK. I had a good game, but maybe we need to build on our team chemistry for us to win.)He was not surprised to have shot the ball well at the Arena, where he played most of his collegiate career. &quot;Ang tagal kong nag-laro dito, five years ako dito,&quot; Grey pointed out. &quot;Siguro nakatulong, kasi lahat shumu-shoot eh.&quot;(I played here for a long time, five years. Maybe it helped because I was making my shots.)Despite the latest loss, Grey has had a solid rookie season for Meralco and has proven that he can score at a high level even in the professional ranks. Yet for Benilde&#x27;s former top gunner, he is simply making the most of the opportunities coach Norman Black is giving him.&quot;Si coach Norman, makikita mo naman na kung sino &#x27;yung mainit, &#x27;yan ang gagamitin niya eh. So bibigyan ka talaga niya ng chance kung may ipapakita ka,&quot; Grey explained. &quot;Kailangan lang, &#x27;wag mag-relax. Dapat ganoon — &#x27;yung ang winning attitude na &#x27;wag kang magre-relax. Kailangan every game go hard ka.&quot;(With coach Norman, whoever&#x27;s hot, he&#x27;ll go to that guy. He&#x27;ll give you a chance to show what you got. You can&#x27;t relax. That&#x27;s how it&#x27;s supposed to be — that&#x27;s the winning attitude of never relaxing. Every game, you need to go hard.)Grey adds that he still sees the need to keep on proving himself especially as the Bolts are now struggling, having lost back-to-back games.&quot;Sa PBA talaga, siguro kahit four years or five years ka na, kailangan mo i-prove ang sarili mo kasi may bagong dumadating,&quot; he said. &quot;Ito na &#x27;yung buhay mo. So gawin mo lang, maging ready ka lang, and try mo manalo every game hanggang sa makuha mo ang goal mo.&quot;(In the PBA, maybe even if you&#x27;ve been here four years or five years, you still need to prove yourself because the game evolves. This is your life.
