The 6-foot-2, former De La Salle Green University star, only logged five minutes during SMB’s victory over the Magnolia Hotshots in Wednesday night’s 2023-24 Commissioner’s Cup Finals Game 6, but Teng was just ecstatic that he finally won a title in the pro ranks.

Jeron also shared how the ‘Robocop,’ who won multiple championships with the San Miguel franchise, has always been in support of his transfer to SMB.

“He just always tells me to give my best to San Miguel. Different kind of feeling, but I can finally say na nag-champion ako sa PBA. 'Yun 'yung worry ko, baka sa college lang ako mag-champion,” he said.

“I wanna do my best to help the team win more,” bared Jeron, who normed 3.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in 11 games with SMB this conference.
