UAAP Media</div>MANILA -- Far Eastern University is once again the most successful women&#x27;s football program in the UAAP.Jonela Albiño scored the winner in the 111th minute as the Lady Tamaraws snatched a 2-1 thriller in extra time against De La Salle University to rule the Season 86 Finals, Friday night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.Albiño converted on a free kick that broke the 1-1 stalemate to put the Lady Tamaraws ahead and eventually complete a perfect season for a record 12th title overall.La Salle&#x27;s Anicka Castañeda tried for an equalizer late in the match, but her shot sailed past the crossbar.With the victory, FEU now has a chance for a second straight &quot;golden treble,&quot; as its men&#x27;s team is going for the championship against the University of the Philippines at 5 p.m. on Thursday at the same Malate venue. The Lady Tamaraws won last year&#x27;s gold medal match with the same scoreline.&quot;Ang pinaka-importante sa amin &#x27;yung resiliency ng players,&quot; said FEU coach Let Dimzon. &quot;Credit to all my players sa lahat ng trinabaho nila ngayon. Para sa kanila &#x27;to ngayon.&quot;The triumph served as a fitting send off for the Lady Tamaraws Erma Balacua, Claire Ann Lubetania and Katrina Magbitang.Castañeda leads graduating De La Salle players, along with Xylen Cinco, Anna Beatrice Delos Reyes and Marilyn Echeverria.Other individual awardees were FEU&#x27;s Judie Arevalo (Rookie of the Year), UP&#x27;s Frances Arcelo (Best Goalkeeper), Jennifer Baroin (Best Defender) and DLSU&#x27;s Shai del Campo (Best Midfielder).The Fighting Maroons complete the podium finishers, placing third behind the Lady Tamaraws and the Lady Booters. Ateneo took the Fair Play award.
