Newsome gave credit to his rivals' adjustments en route to Game 4. Terrence Romeo and Vic Manuel finally saw action for San Miguel and contributed quality minutes to the delight of Jorge Gallent and the rest of Beermen.

"They [San Miguel Beermen] made their adjustments. That’s what a playoff series is about. They definitely came in with a lot more energy today. We definitely saw that. I think the presence of guys like Vic [Manuel] and Terrence [Romeo] did a lot for them," he said.
