The RP Blu Boys bowed out of contention in the 18th WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup 2024 after back-to-back close losses on Sunday in Hermosillo, Mexico.The Blu Boys absorbed a 2-3 loss against Venezuela and then a 2-4 defeat against the Czech Republic.They finished with a final record of 1-5 in the competition.&quot;While today&#x27;s result isn’t what we hoped for, it will serve as fuel for our next attempt at the World Cup,&quot; ASAPHIL President Jean Henri Lhuillier said. The Philippines had stunned the host nation, 3-1, for their first win of the tournament on Friday.
