Photo from Facebook/SGA.</div>Strong Group Athletics-Philippines continued with their winning ways in the 43rd William Jones Cup.This was after they moved past Ukraine, 82-74, during their Monday night faceoff in Taiwan.Former San Miguel import Chris McCullough continued his stellar play for the SGA by delivering 28 points, six rebounds, two assists, and a block in over 35 minutes of gameplay, and Jordan Heading provided spark with 24 markers (4/6 3pts), three boards, and three steals.Kiefer Ravena, meanwhile, provided stability for the squad and contributed 10 markers, four assists, and a steal, while Ange Kouame and Tajuan Agee finished with nine and seven, respectively.On the other hand, Anatoliy Shundel spearheaded the early onslaught by the Ukrainians and top-scored for them with 17 points on top of four assists and two rebounds, Rostyslav Novitskyi followed with 12 markers and eight boards, Oleksandr Antypov had 11, while Oleksandr Kobzystyi and Pavlo Krutous each scored 10.Trailing by six at the end of the opener, Ukraine imposed themselves in the second and third periods by outscoring SGA, 37-27.This allowed them to enter the final canto with a 58-54 advantage, but this is when the Philippines regained their footing.Both teams went back and forth in the fourth, but Ukraine managed to hold on and even had a 72-70 lead late in the game.McCollough then went on to convert an and-one with only 1:49 left in the contest, and he followed this with a dagger trey in their next possession off an assist by Ravena.The former San Miguel Beerman, Heading, and Ravena then went on to put the finishing touches in the next plays as they made all but one of SGA&#x27;s next six free throws, and that proved to be enough for the Charles Tiu-mentored team to post their third straight victory in as many games and remain on top of the standings.
