Sonny Tumbelaka, AFP/File</div>(UPDATED) The 2024 Paris Olympic Games campaign of Filipino-Japanese judoka Kiyomi Watanabe has now come to an end.This, after Watanabe was defeated by China&#x27;s Jing Tang in the judo event&#x27;s women&#x27;s -63kg round of 32 on Tuesday in Mat 2 of the Champ de Mars Arena.The world-ranked No.22 Tang scored an early win over the 27-year-old, ranked No.92 Watanabe via Ippon 51 seconds into their faceoff.After taking down Watanabe, Tang successfully pinned her for 20 seconds, and this allowed China&#x27;s bet to eventually advance into the round of 16.She will be facing Kosovo&#x27;s Laura Fazliu.Watanabe&#x27;s loss mirrored her early exit in the 2021 Tokyo Games.In her Olympic debut, Watanabe faced Spain&#x27;s Cristina Cabana in the round of 32. The Spaniard was quickly able to take down the Filipina judoka, and she eventually scored a win by ippon only 38 ticks after their bout started.<div></div>
