Falcons AP Bren on Sunday night made quick work of Cloud9 Esports, sending the North American squad packing as they entered the MSC 2024 knockout stages held in Boulevard Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia.   

The reigning world champions are 2-0 so far in the Group Stages as they dismantled Michael "MobaZane" Cosgun and crew.

Meanwhile, Filipino jungler superstar Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol and the rest of FNATIC Onic suffered a massive upset Tuesday night, suffering a sweep against SeeYouSoon and a draw against Malaysian champions Selangor Red Giants to end their campaign. 

FNATIC Onic failed their quest to defend their title as a result, after winning it in Cambodia last year. The win was a breakthrough for SeeYouSoon, who had to soldier on in the competition without a coach after analyst PARAGON and coach CatGod were suspended for four matches, and were barred from attending the team's MSC 2024 games. 

The ban stemmed from a request to repick drafts on the part of SeeYouSoon, where Moonton said it saw an irregularity on the part of the Cambodian champions.
