MANILA – Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) President Cynthia Carrion is hopeful the country&#x27;s top gymnasts, especially two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, will take home medals at the 53rd Artistic Gymnastics World Championships.  Carrion earlier told ABS-CBN News that Yulo joined some members of the Philippine national team in Japan for training before heading to Jakarta, Indonesia. <div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/specials/carlos-yulo-tumbling-into-history">Tumbling into history: How Carlos Yulo was built into an Olympic champion</a></div>Yulo banners the Philippine contingent alongside Southeast Asian medalists Miguel Besana, Ace de Leon and Ivan Cruz. The GAP President said she expects Yulo to win a gold medal, as he competes in two apparatus in the tournament.&quot;I hope we win. Well, we&#x27;re hoping that Carlos wins the gold medal. But he&#x27;s only going to do two apparatus. Of course floor and vault. Those are the only two because he has had so many activities that he&#x27;s not really prepared for all apparatus,&quot; Carrion said.&quot;But for the Olympics, he&#x27;s going to be all around, all the apparatus.
