“We haven’t been able to assess as deeply as we want to assess, but neither of them were really to play tonight,” said Ginebra head coach Tim Cone after their 114-98 win against TerraFirma Dyip on Wednesday evening at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.

“Stephen has a knee injury. It looks like a hyperextension or maybe a bone bruise, because again, we’re not 100% sure as these are preliminary observations. Japeth has a groin pull. We don’t know the severity yet, but he’s scheduled for an MRI and we’ll take a look at that when we can.”

Holt slipped in their previous game against Eastern in the fourth quarter, but he was able to return to the contest after that. On the other hand, Aguilar was already walking gingerly after their 93-91 loss that same game.
