I wanted to announce it early so I could really lock in and try to get a championship for Rain or Shine. We haven&#x27;t won all-Filipino so that&#x27;s kind of the focus right now,&quot; said Norwood on Tuesday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2025/10/9/-one-la5t-flight-gabe-norwood-to-retire-after-pba-season-50-ph-cup-1403"><strong>READ: &#x27;ONE LA5T FLIGHT&#x27;: Rain or Shine&#x27;s Gabe Norwood to retire after PBA Season 50 PH Cup</strong></a></div><p>He is watching and supporting his cousin, Alohi Robins-Hardy, who is playing as setter for the Farm Fresh Foxies.</p><p>Norwood said he&#x27;s &quot;blessed&quot; for his longevity, giving credit to the league and his support system.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m trying to save my emotions for the end, the true end, and stay focused. But I&#x27;ve been truly blessed to have a long career.
