The Red Lions remained flawless in Group B of NCAA Season 101 men’s basketball all thanks to Miller’s 22 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a statement block in the end game to seal the victory. ”As a coach, it’s always nice to have a talent like Janti,” hailed San Beda U head coach Yuri Escueta. “But I told him after the game to remain humble, kasi matagal pa tong season na ‘to, dalawang panalo pa lang kami. He then ended the contest with two straight baskets, the latter of which came as a slam, and that was all they needed to keep their rivals winless despite not having the injured Yuki Andrada and RC Calimag. On the other hand, rookie Titing Manalili continued his struggles in the collegiate ranks, only finishing with 13 markers on 5-of-16 shooting with six assists but with three turnovers.
