Photo handout/PYBC.MANILA — The GTG Foundation Los Baños Gallants are finally in the win column of the Philippine Youth Basketball Championship (PYBC) Under-13 after they took down TOPS Mordeno, 95-64, last Sunday at the Villar Coliseum in Las Piñas. Ram Angelo Lebornio led Los Baños with 15 points, four steals, and three assists to be hailed as the PalawanPay Player of the Game, and he emphasized how crucial this victory was for them in the Benjie Paras-led PYBC. “Mahalaga po ito para hindi kami bumagsak,” said Lebornio, as they finally ended their five-game skid in the PYBC, which is supported by PalawanPay, Cherifer, Chronos, and Chooks-to-Go. “Depensa po namin at sa pakikinig ng coaches &#x27;yung nakatulong sa amin,” added Lebornio, who also drew help from Keith Concio (14 points, 11 rebounds), Mark Denver Corcuera (13 points, 13 rebounds), Jan Alunan (11 points), and Lance Mercado and Kurt Martinez who each scored 10. On the other hand, Kurt Amaba listed 18 points while Rich Bautista had 14 in Mordeno’s third loss in four games in the PYBC, which is also backed by Aces Solar, Goodday Friz, Oak Group of Companies, Smile 360 Dental Clinic, Team Access – Official Nike Partner, and Daily Essencials. In the same division, the Smile 360 Bullies dumped Aces Solar Locked in, 91-75, behind Cristhop Calvero’s 19 points and 14 rebounds for their fourth straight win, and sixth total in seven assignments. Closing out the U13 side, Chef’s Magic MLO Basketball denied JPM-TEC San Beda, 89-81, for their sixth straight win in as many games, thanks to Reign Driz and Ethan Suangco who each scored 18. Meanwhile, Lev Construction Full Potential Under-15 notched back-to-back wins after moving past JMTG Medical Infinite Trading, 88-77, as Jim Braza exploded for 32 points to steer his squad to its third win in six games. Still in the U15 division, JPM-TEC San Beda downed Spartans San Beda Alabang, 82-69, after Kurt Benitez scattered 19 points and 10 rebounds for their third win in five games. Over to the Under 11 division, Kyrie Celis and Sebastian Balingit each fired 12 points as D2M Sportswear Grind Hoops bounced back by defeating Lev Construction Full Potential, 69-61, for their second win in five games. RWE Jaba Medical, for its part, marked its second straight win in another U11 clash after discarding Grupong Bedista &amp; Co., 59-50, led by Joakim Castro’s 20 points, 10 steals, three rebounds, and two assists to overcome their 0-3 start. Finally, Buena Foods JSKLLBBLLDVT remained spotless in five games after going over Spartans, 87-74, with Dlare Simbulan scoring 16, and Isaiah Acorda, Sochiru Del Mundo, and Word Topacio each contributing 14. Raphael De Belen, on the other hand, led Spartans with a 15-point, 26-rebound game with four steals, two blocks, and two assists, but these were spoiled as they absorbed their second loss in five games.</div>
