Photo handout/PYBC.MANILA — Chef’s Magic MLO Basketball remained unblemished after dominating the EMDS Rizal Knights, 108-50, in the Philippine Youth Basketball Championship (PYBC) Under-13 division last Saturday at the Paco Arena in Manila. Syrus Demante was awarded with the PalawanPay Player of the Game honors after listing 20 points, four rebounds, four steals, and three assists as MLO Basketball notched its fifth straight victory in the PYBC which is supported by PalawanPay, Cherifer, Chronos, and Chooks-to-Go. “Yung factor po talaga is hindi kami nagbabakawan,” said Demante, who also drew 16 points each from Charles Panaligan and Zach Agustin in the PYBC which is also backed by Aces Solar, Goodday Friz, Oak Group of Companies, Smile 360 Dental Clinic, Team Access – Official Nike Partner, and Daily Essencials. Juro Matthew Go finished with 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists for the Knights who remained winless in four games in the Benjie Paras-led PYBC. Still in the U13 side, the Smile 360 Bullies improved to 5-1 after dumping Jet’s Barbershop, 82-75, behind Oscar Bagion’s 17 points and five steals, and Cristoph Calvero’s 13 points, 19 rebounds, seven steals, and five assists. To complete the U13 games, Aces Solar Locked In won by default over JPM-TEC San Beda, 20-0, for their second win in five games. In Under-15 action, Lev Construction Full Potential thwarted Spartans San Beda Alabang, 77-64, as they inched closer to .500 with a 2-3 record, thanks to Jim Braza and Shawn Quilala scoring 12 markers each. Also in U15, JMTG Medical Trading Infinite went over JPM-TEC San Beda, 75-68, after Juan Coronel poured 12 points to improve to 2-2 in the team standings. Completing Saturday’s U15 outings is Migrafix Doc Boleros pouncing on Migueliz Trading Mordeno, 96-52, as Royette Villareal and Khryz Samson scored 16 and 15 markers, respectively, for their fourth win in six games. In the Under-11 competition, RWE Jaba Medical defeated Lev Construction Full Potential, 74-66, after Axel Arciaga and Joakim Castro scored 17 points each for their first win in five games. Completing the U11 games, Converge Super Fiber x Coach T overwhelmed D2M Sportswear Grind Hoops, 75-42, thanks in large part to Dana Reyes’ 13 and Yuan Adane’s 12 which was crucial for their second win in five games.</div>
