This will be the Altas&#x27; first semifinals appearance since Season 97 in early 2022, and making this possible were Patrick Sleat who notched a 14-point, 10-assist outing, and Mark Gojo Cruz who fired 23 points. “Pinakita ko lang talaga &#x27;yung kaya kong gawin,” said Sleat, who also had six rebounds and two steals. “Kung ano lang &#x27;yung binigay ng depensa, &#x27;yun lang &#x27;yung binabasa ko.” The Las Piñas-based cagers will be facing the victor between Colegio de San Juan de Letran and Arellano University who will be deciding their quarterfinals bout on Friday at the FilOil Centre in San Juan. On the other hand, the Heavy Bombers almost crawled back from down 11 in the fourth period as they cut their deficit to three, 70-73, but that was the nearest that they could get as Sleat, John Abis, and JP Boral iced the contest from that point on. Sean Salvador had 18 points to lead JRU, while Allan Laurenaria and Justine Lozano followed with 16 and 11 markers, respectively. The Scores:  Perpetual 81 – Gojo Cruz 23, Sleat 14, Orgo 10, Abis 9, Boral 7, Nuñez 6, Casinilio 4, Duremdes 2, Alcantara 2, Tulabut 2, Gelsano 2, Maglupay 0, Pagulayan 0. JRU 74 – Salvador 18, Laurenaria 16, Lozano 11, Panapanaan 8, Duque 6, Argente 4, Garupil 4, Castillo 3, Benitez 2, Sarmiento 2, Herrera 0. Quarterscores: 22-16, 41-37, 63-51, 81-74.</div>
