Photo by Angela Davocol/NCAA Philippines.</div>MANILA (UPDATED) — San Beda University is now a win away from reclaiming NCAA men&#x27;s basketball glory.The Red Lions moved closer to their 24th crown after dominating Colegio de San Juan de Letran, 89–70, in Game 1 of the NCAA Season 101 best-of-three Finals on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.Bryan Sajonia tallied 17 points, six rebounds, and three assists to lead San Beda before fouling out, while Janti Miller and Nygel Gonzales added 16 and 14 points, respectively.San Beda can close out the series in Game 2 on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., still at the Big Dome, but Red Lions coach Yuri Escueta warned his troops against complacency, especially since they will be without Miller who is suspended after being slapped with two technical fouls.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2025/12/10/ncaa-janti-miller-on-his-game-2-suspension-they-can-play-without-me-1920">READ: Janti Miller on his Game 2 suspension — ‘They can play without me&#x27;</a></div>&quot;We still need to be better in staying composed,&quot; said Escueta. &quot;Hats off to our bench, but we still need more.
