Photo from UAAP Media.MANILA — Janti Miller was relegated to being San Beda University’s biggest fan as the Red Lions clinched their 24th NCAA men’s basketball championship on Saturday, but the experience may have only fueled his desire to “run it back” in Mendiola.</div>The 6-foot-4 star served his one-game suspension following his ejection in the series opener, yet Miller never doubted that his squad could finish the job against Colegio de San Juan de Letran and complete a sweep in the NCAA Season 101 Finals.“Everybody was saying that our team wouldn’t win without me, but they won without me,” said Miller after the Red Lions’ 83-71 victory. “I knew my team had it, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”<div style="line-height:1.5"><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2025/12/13/ncaa-san-beda-deals-rival-letran-heartbreak-for-season-101-championship-glory-1601">READ: San Beda deals rival Letran heartbreak for Season 101 championship glory</a></div>“I’m glad that they showed up when it mattered,” added the California native, a member of this season’s NCAA Mythical Five. “I was eager to play, not gonna lie, but I’m eager to run it back, for sure.”Miller, however, struck a more cautious tone in a separate interview, saying he remains undecided about his future.“I have no decision, to be honest with you. I just need to go home, rest, not touch basketball for months, and then make my decision,” he said.Sources told ABS-CBN News that a couple of UAAP teams — at least three —  have indeed expressed interest in the 6-foot-4 scorer, who averaged 20.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 17 games for the Red Lions.Miller also hinted at the possibility of San Beda being UAAP-bound, a development as old as time, though no parties involved have confirmed such a move when asked for further comment.Adding more fuel to the speculation, Miller was in attendance for Game 2 of the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball Finals alongside his father, seated on the side largely occupied by students, alumni, and fans of De La Salle University.Miller declined to be interviewed on the spot, saying he was there purely as a spectator.If Miller decides to stay with San Beda in the NCAA, he will have two years left of eligibility. On the other hand, the 22-year-old will be a one-and-done player for any team he plays for if he transfers to the UAAP.
