PBA Media" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">TNT&#x27;s Bol Bol reacts during their PBA Season 50 Commissioner&#x27;s Cup game against Barangay Ginebra, May 10, 2026 at the Mall of Asia Arena. <em>PBA Media</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA – Barangay Ginebra may have secured a victory over the TNT Tropang 5G on Sunday, but head coach Tim Cone still gave credit to import Bol Bol for his massive scoring night.</p><p>The Gin Kings came out on top against the PBA Commissioner&#x27;s Cup defending champions, 93-86, handing the Tropang 5G their third straight loss.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2026/5/10/pba-ginebra-outlasts-bol-tnt-in-thriller-to-set-up-q-finals-clash-vs-phoenix-2152">READ: Ginebra outlasts Bol, TNT in thriller to set up q’finals clash vs. Phoenix</a></div><p>The TNT import left the court visibly frustrated after his 33 points and 10 rebounds were not enough to lift his team to victory.</p><p>Cone commended the Gin Kings for their defensive effort against Bol, but the former NBA player proved he is still a cut above the rest.</p><p>&quot;Well, I mean, we feel like we played great defense against him and he still scores 33 points. It&#x27;s like we held him to 33 points tonight,&quot; Cone said during the post-game press conference. &quot;He&#x27;s such a force in the game, especially here in our game.&quot;</p><p>&quot;They talk about him so much in the NBA, too, when he&#x27;s out there playing. Everybody&#x27;s so thrilled to watch him play. We&#x27;ve had the honor to watch him play 12 games here now, and I just think it&#x27;s an honor to have him in the country. It&#x27;s just a real challenge to go up against him,&quot; he added.</p><p>The Ginebra mentor pointed out Bol&#x27;s eagerness to end TNT&#x27;s losing skid, despite the team having already qualified for the quarterfinals.</p><p>&quot;You know, this was a non-bearing game, but he came to play.
