PBA Images.MANILA — It’s a double celebration for Barangay Ginebra San Miguel as RJ Abarrientos and Justin Brownlee were recognized for their respective brilliance in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup.</div>Abarrientos was named Best Player of the Conference, while Brownlee earned his fourth Best Import of the Conference award ahead of Game 4 of the Finals on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.The star sophomore has been dazzling for the Gin Kings, averaging 21.2 points, 5.1 assists, and 1.4 steals while shooting 47.6% from the field and 43.6% from three-point range.Brownlee has been equally solid, norming 29.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and one block while shooting 48.1% from the field.Abarrientos, Brownlee, and the rest of the Gin Kings will look to ride this momentum as they seek to build a 3-1 series lead over TNT Tropang 5G tonight.
