MANILA – As Region IV-A Calabarzon coach Jasper Magno mourned the loss of Rene Baterbonia, he praised the younger basketball star&#x27;s character both on and off the court. Magno visited the last night of Baterbonia&#x27;s wake, along with his Calabarzon players, on Thursday in a memorial chapel in Quezon City.Ateneo de Manila University confirmed on Monday the death of its basketball players Baterbonia and Divine Adili in a team-building activity in Dipaculao, Aurora. Calabarzon dethroned Baterbonia and the Davao Region in the Palarong Pambansa last month in the basketball player&#x27;s hometown of Agusan del Sur.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/6/11/resort-owners-appear-before-nbi-over-baterbonia-adili-case-2018">Resort owners appear before NBI over Baterbonia, Adili case</a></div>&quot;Sobrang lungkot yung nangyari.
