UAAP Media</div>MANILA – The Ateneo de Manila University said the wake of the late Divine Adili will be moved outside to a memorial chapel in Quezon City starting Wednesday.  The remains of Adili are currently at the Ateneo college chapel in the University&#x27;s Loyola Heights campus, following a candlelight service and memorial mass held on Saturday. &quot;As part of the preparations for repatriation and in accordance with the wishes of the Adili family, the venue of the wake for Chukwuemeka Divine Adili, beloved Ateneo student and athlete, will be moved to Arlington Memorial Chapels, Araneta Avenue, Quezon City, beginning 17 June 2026,&quot; Ateneo said in a post on Tuesday. &quot;The wake will be open from 12 noon to 8 pm every day, and daily masses will continue to be celebrated and offered for Divine at 5pm,&quot; the University added. <div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2026/6/13/divine-adili-s-family-on-tab-baldwin-s-apology-the-damage-has-been-done-2347">READ: Divine Adili&#x27;s family on Tab Baldwin&#x27;s apology: &#x27;The damage has been done&#x27;</a></div>The family of Adili said it is coordinating with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Ateneo de Manila University on the repatriation of Divine&#x27;s remains. &quot;I&#x27;m in touch with Ateneo, and they have the plan to return, they&#x27;re only waiting for some documents to be released for them,&quot; Elias Adili, Divine&#x27;s father told ABS-CBN News last Saturday. &quot;Well, they gave me a week, a week or thereabouts, depending on the arrival of the documents to them. So I will not give you a specific time or date, it&#x27;s still going to be a week,&quot; he added. Last Wednesday, the embassy said Adili&#x27;s family requested an autopsy on the deceased Ateneo Blue Eagle player&#x27;s body. The embassy said the autopsy was sought before the arrangements for the repatriation of Adili&#x27;s body are finalized. Adili and his teammate Rene Baterbonia drowned during a team-building activity in Dipaculao, Aurora last June 8.  Investigations are still on-going regarding the circumstances surrounding their deaths.On Tuesday, former members of the Ateneo Blue Eagles appeared at the <a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/6/16/ex-ateneo-players-appear-before-cidg-probe-1016">Criminal Investigation and Detection Group</a> (CIDG), while current players including EJ Kahipe Jr. showed up at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).<a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/basketball/2026/6/16/baldwin-misses-nbi-probe-but-will-fully-cooperate-says-lawyer-1352">Absent once again was erstwhile head coach Tab Baldwin</a>, who together with team manager Christopher &quot;Epok&quot; Quimpo resigned on Monday in the wake of the tragedy.
