File Photo/UAAP Media </div>MANILA — Ateneo Blue Eagles big man Divine Adili has been laid to rest on Friday in his hometown of Umueri, Nigeria.Adili&#x27;s aunt, Nwozor-Mabia Ogonna Grace, shared her nephew&#x27;s burial on her Facebook account, as requested by Divine&#x27;s friends.  In the video, the burial started with a convoy showing some members of Divine&#x27;s family wearing shirts with his face in front and his name on the back along with the number 14.Divine&#x27;s younger brother Jesse was also seen in the video holding a photo of him donning his Ateneo Blue Eagles uniform.  Before his burial, Adili&#x27;s family and loved ones offered prayers and songs to the late basketball player whom they called “star boy” and “gentle giant.”The Ateneo de Manila University earlier said it has sent representatives to accompany Adili&#x27;s remains to Nigeria.  The 21-year-old showed promise after making impact in his first year with Ateneo in the UAAP Season 88 Men&#x27;s Basketball tournament.Adili and his teammate Rene Baterbonia&#x27;s lives were cut short after they drowned in a team-building activity in Dipaculao, Aurora last June 8.The Philippine National Police and National Bureau of Investigation have launched separate probes into the deaths of Adili and Baterbonia.   The PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group on Friday announced it is recommending the filing of hazing charges against resigned Ateneo head coach Tab Baldwin and 10 others involved in the team-building activity in Aurora.ADMU said it “acknowledged the CIDG&#x27;s recommendation and respect the work it has undertaken in the course of its investigation.”
