It&#x27;s just up to us to respond to those,&quot; Monteverde said.San Beda coach Yuri Escueta, meanwhile, is embracing the underdog role as the Red Lions look to pull off an upset.&quot;It&#x27;s going to be a tough game for us, but what&#x27;s important naman is for us to compete kahit na UP pa yan,&quot; he said.Adding intrigue to the matchup are San Beda&#x27;s Aldous Torculas and UP&#x27;s James Payosing, who will go up against their former schools.In the other semifinal, Letran rides a nine-game winning streak behind Titing Manalili and Jimboy Estrada as it faces Jose Rizal University.The Knights, however, have not forgotten that their lone defeat in the tournament came at the hands of the Heavy Bombers, who stunned them, 80-70, on May 18.&quot;We know how strong JRU is and we respect that. Ang sa amin naman, we want to be ready to play every single game kasi preparation namin ito papasok sa NCAA,&quot; said Letran coach Allen Ricardo.JRU coach Nani Epondulan believes his squad has earned its place in the Final Four and hopes to prove its earlier victory over Letran was no fluke.&quot;Fortunate lang siguro kami but it&#x27;s still because of the system. Yung mga players, nagtiwala sila sa sistema at doon naman kami sasandal talaga,&quot; he said.
