The Heavy Bombers defeated the Red Lions, 73-65, on June 17.&quot;As long as we play hard, the results will speak for itself. JRU is also a tough team, so it&#x27;s all gonna boil down to who gives it their all,&quot; said assistant coach Andre Santos.San Beda is eyeing its fourth FilOil Preseason Cup title after winning the tournament in 2015, 2017, and 2019.JRU, meanwhile, understands it enters the series as the underdog.What cannot be denied, however, is the respect the Heavy Bombers have earned during their impressive run, with Chris Hubilla and Lawrence Mangubat leading the way, just as they did in their 82-73 semifinal win over Letran.&quot;Unti-unti hanggang dulo. We&#x27;d just like to give ourselves a chance to win the game,&quot; said head coach Nani Epondulan.Before Game 1, National University&#x27;s Reinhard Jumamoy will defend his Three-Point Shootout crown, with the contest set for 4 p.m.Joining him in the field are San Beda&#x27;s RC Calimag and Zed Etulle, JRU&#x27;s Sean Salvador and Jalen Garcia, Letran&#x27;s Chad Gammad and Jimboy Estrada, UP&#x27;s Chicco Briones and Jacob Bayla, La Salle&#x27;s Jason Cibull, Mapua&#x27;s Cyrus Cuenco, UST&#x27;s Amiel Acido, and Benilde&#x27;s Matt Jucom.
