<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1788334503647IMG_1860.jpeg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Gilas Pilipinas guards Adrian Nocum (left) and Robert Bolick (right). <em>Photo by Leonard Manuel Seijo/Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.</em></span></span></span>MANILA — Adrian Nocum and Robert Bolick are set to take flight as Gilas Pilipinas continues its buildup for its title-retention bid in the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.</div><p>Nocum and Bolick were joined by RJ Abarrientos, Justin Arana, Justine Baltazar, and Don Trollano as the Nationals flew to South Korea on Tuesday afternoon for a pair of tuneup games before the Asiad proper.</p><p>Completing the crew are Sedrick Barefield, Jerrick Ahanmisi, Zav Lucero, Brandon Bates, and Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, while Gilas head coach Tim Cone said they are still leaving a spot open in case Justin Brownlee gets cleared to play.</p><p>“There’s a chance that Justin might come in. That’s not confirmed, but right now, we’ve got 13 guys on the list including Justin,” he said.</p><p>What’s certain for now is that Gilas will be battling the South Korea basketball team in a pair of friendlies on September 4 and September 6 before flying to Japan.</p><p>The Philippines will face Bahrain, Kazakhstan, and China in the group stage.</p><p>For Cone, Gilas can make the most of its speed and quickness against its opponents as it aims for its second straight Asian Games men’s basketball crown.</p><p>“It’s more of an uptempo system, so they’re gonna use their speed and quickness,” said Cone.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO:</strong></div><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3Ra-hnEKp-I?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div>
