The new Ascension squad logged one more round before GE took VARREL&#x27;s map pick at 13-7.</p><p>In Abyss, GE burst out of the gate with five straight rounds, but VARREL answered back with four rounds of their own. The two traded a round each, but GE concluded the half at 7-5.</p><p>In the second half, GE picked up where they left off by winning the pistol, anti-eco, and bonus rounds. VARREL managed to break the streak by taking two rounds, but it was too late as GE won three more rounds to take their first win in the season at 13-7. </p><p>Duelist and GE retainer Go &quot;UdoTan&quot; Kyung-won took the match MVP honors while piloting the new sentinel agent Veto with 42 kills, 23 deaths, and 4 assists. Xavi8k and PatMen are close behind the Korean sophomore in the overall stats. </p><p>The tier 1 rookie and in-game leader on Astra notched 40 kills, 27 deaths, and 9 assists while also topping the boards in Abyss.
