Photo courtesy of Jhay Oh Otamias</div>TEMECULA, California -- Jimuel Pacquiao, the son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, settled for a majority draw in his debut as a professional boxer on Saturday at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California.Pacquiao, who just a few days ago welcomed his first child, faced another newcomer in Brendan Lally of Chicago, Illinois in a four-round affair. In front of a packed crowd at the Summit Events Center, Lally put Pacquiao on the back foot early as he came out with aggression, pressing forward and forcing Pacquiao to the ropes multiple times.The younger Pacquiao answered with sharp left jabs, well-timed right straights, and bursts of clean combinations.Neither fighter backed down throughout the four rounds, trading flurries and moments of dominance.The judges&#x27; scorecards reflected the competitiveness of the bout. One judge scored it 39–37 for Pacquiao Jr while the remaining two judges had it 38–38, resulting in a majority draw.&quot;I had fun, and I&#x27;m okay with the result,&quot; said Lally after the fight.<div> </div><div>ANXIOUS &#x27;PACMAN&#x27;</div>An anxious &quot;Pacman&quot; watched the bout from the front row, with the elder Pacquiao admitting that he wanted to coach his son mid-fight.&quot;Of course I was nervous,&quot; said Pacquiao. &quot;But this is just the beginning. Jimuel has a lot to learn, and I&#x27;m excited to help teach him more.&quot;Jimuel acknowledged that the bright lights and the huge crowd made him nervous, but he was still proud of his performance.&quot;It wasn&#x27;t easy, but I wanted to give a good showing of myself,&quot;  he said. &quot;I know I have a lot to improve on, and I&#x27;m ready to get back to training.&quot;Manny hopes to fight again in 2026, and he would love for his son to be on the card.&quot;Hopefully he can be on the undercard so we can train together,&quot; said the elder Pacquiao.
