Handout/ONE Championship</div>MANILA -- Team Lakay&#x27;s Jhanlo Mark Sangiao will be back in action in July.The second generation fighter will be up against Mongolian heavy hitter Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg at ONE Fight Night 33 on July 12 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.This marks Sangiao&#x27;s return to the ONE Championship stage after suffering the first loss of his career in August 2023, when Enkh-Orgil Bataarkhuu submitted him in the second round of their bantamweight clash at ONE Fight Night 13.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/othersports/2025/5/16/mma-jhanlo-mark-sangiao-glad-to-get-undefeated-pressure-off-his-back-2223">READ: Jhanlo Mark Sangiao glad to get &#x27;undefeated&#x27; pressure off his back</a></div>&quot;I&#x27;m excited. I&#x27;m used to facing strikers, strikers who I love taking to the ground,&quot; he said.&quot;Shine is one of those strikers and I plan on exploiting his holes on the ground.&quot;Sangiao comes in with a 6-1 record, with five of his wins coming by submission -- a stark difference from the prototypical Team Lakay fighter who usually favor the striking game.Against Zoltsetseg, though, he must be on the lookout for the Mongolian fighter&#x27;s heavy hands that he sets up by getting on his opponent&#x27;s skin – showboating and trying to force his opponents out of their game. Sangiao vows to be ready for that. &quot;Yeah, I expect him to come out showboating. But I won&#x27;t be affected. I must not be affected. I have to focus on the game plan and focus on the win,&quot; he said. A win here for Sangiao would get him back on track in the mid-tier of the loaded bantamweight division, as he, together with teammate Carlo Bumina-ang look to scale the divisional ladder where reigning World Champion Fabricio Andrade sits at the top.
