Manny Pacquiao is back in the Philippines following his much-talked-about fight against Mario Barrios in Las Vegas and a romantic post-fight vacation with wife Jinkee in Italy.“Masaya, very exciting vacation,” Manny said.The couple visited several picturesque spots, including Amalfi and Positano, with Manny sharing that his favorite part included simply walking around uphill roads and taking in the views.Pacquiao looked back at the form he showed against Barrios, saying he was quite pleased with his condition which he got after only 2 months of training and after 4 years of not fighting.He recovered quickly and had more energy just days after the intense 12 round bout.“After the fight, three or four days later, nag-jogging na ako ulit,” he shared, emphasizing how disciplined his two-month training camp was. “Focus lang talaga. No distractions. Even Sundays, I’d go to church then rest for the next day’s training.”Pacquiao said he was extremely dedicated and excited every day of training.Ideally, he said, he would’ve trained for three months especially at his age, but he was still thankful for the stamina he achieved.“Satisfied ako sa condition ko, but not yet 100%. Yung speed, timing, more punches… kulang pa.”He confirmed that he has watched the replay of the fight, and overall, he was pleased with his showing“Twelve rounds against a younger opponent — okay na yun,” he said.So, what’s next for the eight-division world champion?Pacquiao hinted that fans may not have to wait too long to see him in the ring again.“This year. Mga December,” he said when asked about a possible next fight.As for his return to the MGM Grand in Vegas, a venue he has fought in more than anyone else, he described it as “historic.”&quot;History din yun dahil ako pinakamarami ng fight sa MGM. Nag-isa, ako lang nag-isa.&quot;And having all his family cheering him on made it even more special.“Inspired ako. Complete family. Malakas sumigaw.”Now back in Manila, Manny says he plans to rest, play a bit of golf, and jog.Showing his 6-pack, he emphasized a good balance is needed for him to continue working on his fitness and other things he needs to improve on for his next fight.“Relax muna. Pero training pa rin,” he said.
