Photo courtesy of Princess Trinidad</div>MANILA -- Two Philippine teams topped the podium in their respective divisions in the 2025 Asia Oceanic Ultimate Championship last week in Japan in a confidence-boosting campaign ahead of their participation in the Southeast Asian Games later this year.The Pilipinas Ultimate Mixed team, made up of the best male and female ultimate athletes in the country, showed mastery all throughout the tournament, with a perfect record of 5 wins and zero losses coming into the finals. They capped their run with a 14-6 triumph over Singapore to claim the gold medal, building on an 8-2 advantage at the half.The Pilipinas Ultimate Mixed team will represent the country in the SEA Games in Thailand in December, in what will be ultimate&#x27;s debut in the regional multi-sport extravaganza.&quot;We are incredibly proud of all our athletes, coaches, and managers for reaching another milestone for Pilipinas Ultimate and for the entire Philippine Ultimate community,&quot; said Princess Trinidad, Philippine Flying Disc Association President.&quot;These wins are a testament to the commitment, passion, and talent of our athletes. Photo courtesy of Princess Trinidad</div>The Pilipinas Ultimate Mixed Masters team, composed of men and women 30 years old and above, also showed their dominance in the tournament, sweeping their division with a clean record of 7-0. The team bagged gold after a 15 -10 win in the championship match against a Japanese contingent.Meanwhile, the Open or all-men&#x27;s team finished in seventh place, while the all-women&#x27;s squad was 10th out of 12 teams in their divisions.
