<p>Alex Eala is back on the teal and blue hardcourts of Miami, where her breakthrough year began one year ago at the Miami Open 2025.</p><p>Eala took a short break in Los Angeles after Indian Wells last week where she reached the fourth round, and is now back practicing to prep for her first match at the Miami Open. Expected to be with her in Miami are coaches Sandro Viaene and Joan Bosch from the Rafa Nadal Academy.</p><p>Eala has a bye in the first round as seed # 31.
