Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy met former American professional boxer Terence Crawford in Kyiv on Tuesday (August 25) where the undefeated former world champion presented him with a puppy named Freya as a gesture of solidarity with Ukraine.Footage released on Tuesday by the Ukrainian presidential press service showed Crawford handing over the American Pit Bull Terrier puppy during a meeting at the presidential office.According to a post by Zelenskiy on Telegram, Freya&#x27;s grandfather, Athos, survived the Russian occupation of Bucha, a town near Kyiv that became a symbol of Russian war crimes early in the war.Zelenskiy said the puppy was named after the future FREYA air defense system &quot;as a symbol of our protection&quot;.&quot;We know you, we know your victories. And in Ukraine, we also need a victory, but one.
