Lahat naman kasi sa practice, talagang binibigay nila lahat ‘yung best nila,&quot; said setter Clo Mondoñedo after orchestrating Zus&#x27; plays with 23 excellent sets.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2025/10/28/pvl-akari-rallies-past-galeries-for-bounce-back-win-1609"><strong>READ: PVL: Akari rallies past Galeries for bounce-back win</strong></a></div><p>Anna DeBeer, usual culprit for Zus Coffee&#x27;s attacks, powered her team with 23 points on 22 spikes, while rookie AC Miner followed with 11 points.</p><p>Veteran Jov Gonzaga, proving to be an irreplaceable presence for the Thunderbelles, had an all-around showing of nine points, nine excellent digs and six excellent receptions.</p><p>Only a one-point lead in Set 3, 17-16, riding on a 2-0 set lead, Zus Coffee found the 4-0 run that allowed them to pull away from the Angels for a 21-16 cushion.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2025/10/26/pvl-erika-santos-named-player-of-the-week-after-fueling-cignal-s-resurgence-1636"><strong>READ: PVL: Erika Santos named Player of the Week after fueling Cignal&#x27;s resurgence</strong></a></div><p>Reinforcement Anna DeBeer&#x27;s back-to-back hits powered the Thunderbelles to match point, 24-18, but Brooke Van Sickle and a Gonzaga net fault kept the Angels in the game, saving two match points.</p><p>But they finally found the close out as DeBeer fired the game-winning long shot.</p><p>&quot;It’s a total team effort and I’m so grateful,&quot; said Gonzaga after the match.</p><p>For their part, the Angels suffered their second loss after winning back-to-back.
