Photo from PVL Media Bureau</div>RODRIGUEZ, Rizal — The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) has called out the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) for &quot;withholding&quot; the necessary endorsement for imports to see action in the 2025 Reinforced Conference.The PNVF has refused to sign their International Transfer Certificates (ITCs), said the PVL as it expressed &quot;deep frustration&quot; on what it called as “unprofessional” and “obstructionist” attitude by the federation.Documentations and clearances from their home clubs, respective federations, and the local teams were in place, said the PVL.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2025/10/2/pvl-jia-de-guzman-out-for-creamline-in-reinforced-conference-1409">READ: PVL: Jia de Guzman out for Creamline in Reinforced Conference</a></div>“The PVL regrets to inform the public that the foreign guest players will not be permitted to participate in the ongoing conference until their ITCs are duly approved,” said tournament organizer Sports Vision.“We respectfully urge the PNVF to expedite the signing process to prevent further disruption to the tournament,” the statement added.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2025/10/2/pvl-reinforced-action-kicks-off-october-7-1757">READ: PVL Reinforced action kicks off October 7 </a></div>The league revealed that the volleyball federation blocked the ITC approval to coerce the PVL to adjust its conference schedule and end it by November 16, &quot;allegedly to accommodate national team preparations for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.&quot;But the league had already finalized its schedule and is set to wrap it up by November 27.In the same statement, a league official criticized the motives of the volleyball federation.“What real contribution has the PNVF made to the growth of volleyball in the country? Aside from asserting authority and taking credit for the achievements of others, what lasting legacy are they building?” a stakeholder said.As of writing, the PNVF has yet to issue an official statement addressing the matter.
