Photo from UAAP Media.MANILA — A new opportunity has opened for National University’s Alyssa Solomon.</div>The Lady Bulldogs star is among the four Filipinas who have joined the 2025 Korean V-League (KOVO) Asian Quota Draft which will be held on April 11.Solomon, who is joined by Choco Mucho’s Mars Alba, PLDT’s Majo Baron, and Maddie Madayag who is currently in Japan, shared that the chance to play in Korea was a development that just presented itself to her.“Biglaan lang po siya eh,” said the National U veteran following their win against University of the Philippines on Sunday.“Focused po ako sa UAAP that time, tapos, may nag approach lang po sa akin na agent. Tinanong ko po kung online or kailangan kong pumunta doon. Sabi naman online lang so wala ako magiging problema doon,” Solomon shared.Solomon has already previously shared that she will be forgoing her final year of eligibility in the UAAP.However, despite her entry into the draft, the 6-foot-2, Alas Pilipinas ace emphasized that her focus is helping the Lady Bulldogs retain their UAAP title in Jhocson Street.“Andyan lang siya muna po, so ang focus ko muna is sa UAAP,” she insisted, before hinting how she also plans to enter other leagues if things in Japan don’t push through.“Secret,” Solomon quipped. “May isa pa po akong option.”The draft proper will be held in Korea next month in a virtual setting.
