<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:959px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1755942062606PVL INV 25 PLDT vs. Cignal - -4953.JPG" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">The PLDT High Speed Hitters.<em> PVL Media Bureau</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA —  PLDT remained to be in peak form, clinching its 10th win in a row in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL)</p><p>The On Tour champions thwarted Cignal, 25-19, 25-13, 25-22, in the 2025 Invitational on Saturday for a franchise-best 10-game winning streak.</p><p>&quot;Hindi talaga namin naiisip &#x27;yung walang talo, kasi tini-treat talaga natin siya game by game,&quot; said captain Kath Arado during the postgame press conference.</p><p>A balanced attack from the PLDT crew paved the way for the three-set win, led by Fil-Canadian star spiker Savi Davison with 17 points including 14 attacks, seven excellent receptions and six excellent digs.</p><p>Rookie Alleiah Malaluan, continued shining with 12 points just a game after her PVL debut, while Kim Kianna Dy registered 11 points, and Majoy Baron delivered 10 markers and three blocks.</p><p>Playmaker Kim Fajardo orchestrated that offense with 19 excellent sets, as libero Arado did her job by putting up 11 excellent digs and eight excellent receptions.</p><p>Alas Pilipinas middle blocker Dell Palomata also returned to PVL action after missing their On Tour campaign.</p><p>As the High Speed Hitters rose to 3-0 record in the Invitational, their sister squad HD Spikers fell to a 0-3 slate.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2025/8/17/pldt-overcomes-chery-tiggo-in-final-snags-pvl-on-tour-title-2114"><strong>READ: PLDT overcomes Chery Tiggo in final, snags PVL on Tour title</strong></a></div><p>It was an unfortunate outcome for the sliding Cignal, but had a bright spot in On Tour MVP Erika Santos.</p><p>Santos notched 10 points, the sole HD Spiker in twin-digit scoring.</p><p>Just when Cignal was trying to get one set, leading at the 16-19 mark in Set 3, the High Speed Hitters answered back with a massive, game-clinching 9-3 run, highlighted by an Arado reception that became an attack point.</p><p>Malaluan put PLDT to match point with an off-speed hit, 24-22, as Jessa Ordiales&#x27; spike went out, closing out the match that almost reached one hour and 30 minutes.</p><p>PLDT battles visiting Japanese squad Kobe Shinwa on Monday, while Cignal hopes to regain winning ways against Zus Coffee.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO:</strong></div><div><strong><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FzJnjV_SfOY?autoplay=1&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></strong><br/></div>
