Whatever role is given to me—whether I’m in the first six, coming off the bench, or just in training—I’ll embrace it and give my all for the team,” Ordiales said in a statement made available to media.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2025/8/19/marck-espejo-regaining-form-ahead-of-world-championship-catching-up-with-alas-men-1743"><strong>READ: Marck Espejo regaining form ahead of World Championship, &#x27;catching up&#x27; with Alas Men<br/></strong></a></div><p>The Alas Men, including Ordiales, have been training hard and recently went to a three-country Europe training camp for the Worlds.</p><p>“I’ll just fulfill whatever role is given to me. Of course, it all starts with trust,” said Ordiales. “I trust them because they also trust me. We’re all helping each other.”</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2025/9/2/fivb-worlds-trophy-and-mascot-tour-ends-on-a-high-note-in-cdo-1434"><strong>READ: FIVB Worlds trophy and mascot tour ends on a high note in CDO<br/></strong></a></div><p>The 6-foot-6 opposite spiker hopes they could perform well in front of their Filipino supporters in the 32-country world class contest.</p><p>“Whatever happens in the world championship, I want people to leave the arena saying they were proud of how the team played,” he said.</p><p>Ordiales was one of Alas Men&#x27;s main gunners in the Southeast Asian (SEA) V.League 2025 Leg 1, where he won Best Opposite Spiker award.</p><p>By virtue of hosting, the Philippines was granted a slot in the Worlds, and Alas Men aim to make the most out of it.</p><p>The World Championship takes place from September 12 to 28 at the Araneta Coliseum and Mall of Asia Arena.
